The North Carolina-grown and Nashville-based, Trey Calloway grew up singing in church and was a seasoned performer by the age of ten. Although southern and contemporary gospel were his first musical loves, Trey instantly fell in love with country music and quickly developed a deep understanding and passion for the rocking, boot-stomping music of Clint Black, Alan Jackson, and Travis Tritt.
Trey has opened shows for Tracy Lawrence, McBride & The Ride, Pat Green, and Trent Tomlinson to name a few.
And since mid-2023, Trey has won Songwriter of the Year at the Texas Country Music Awards, had a music video featured on CMT.
Currently nominated for the 2024 Texas Country Music Association Christian Songwriter of the Year for “Backroad Believer.”
His new album Wanted Man is out now and a wanted man he is.
